Relaxed Performances at

Rotherham Civic Theatre

Rotherham Theatres are pleased to announce that they will be having

a ‘relaxed performance’ of this year’s Pantomime

‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ on Tuesday 20th December at 11.00am

Relaxed performances are designed to provide a more comfortable

experience for adults

or children who may find it more difficult to sit still and stay quiet

for the full duration

of theatre performances, or who may feel uncomfortable when

a show has a lot of

flashing lights and noisy special effects.

During relaxed performances, we don’t ask everyone to keep quiet

and we don’t mind if people move around or come in and out of the

auditorium during the performance. We provide extra auditorium

lighting during the performance and fewer special effects to create

a calm and relaxed experience.

The performance, which will also be signed, will have extra

dedicated staff to assist with access and seating. The cast and staff

are fully briefed and aware of the needs of the audience.

For more information on this performance please call

Sam Keane at

Rotherham Theatres on 01709 823641.
